Bothered

Dear Diary,

24TH AUG
I am beginning to think that Louis isn’t sincere about being friends with me after he rejected me a month ago. It had been almost three weeks since he came back from his trip to Bangkok, and not once has he called me or replied my sms. I did call him one weekend, but he was napping and he said he would return my call, which he didn’t. What kind of attitude is that? It was not as though I kept calling him or sending him sms daily. In fact, I only called once a week and the sms, also once a week and till date, not a single response. Should I just give this up?


25TH AUG
I went for a gym session with pal yesterday and he told me he planned to shift house soon so that he has sufficient money to purchase his dream car. Sighz. If that happens, I will lose a close friend who stayed nearby and a gym buddy. After all, we became gym buddies because we lived nearby and could go together. If he truly shifted somewhere far away, a lot of things would change.

I had another long chat with Alan last night and I confided in him about how some issues. Alan offered plenty of advice and he was very calm when doing that. It was like he had all the answers to my woes at his fingertips and for that, I am grateful. It was weird that the one I could confide in was someone I only just got to know and yet I couldn’t confide any of this to the friends I already knew for some time.
